Our approach

MemesFx is built to work without knowing who you are. We collect the minimum needed to run the service, and account data only exists if you choose to sign in.

What we collect

• Install identifier — a random, anonymous ID created on first launch to operate the service and de-duplicate analytics. It is not tied to your real identity.
• Usage analytics (with your consent) — aggregated events such as plays, impressions, downloads, likes, shares, and searches, used to see what's popular and improve the catalog.
• Account data (only if you sign in) — your email address and your synced likes, boards, and settings.
• Technical data — basic device and app-version information sent with requests to keep the service working and secure.

What we do not collect

• We do not record audio or use your microphone.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not sell your data.

Advertising

MemesFx is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to limit repeat ads and, where you consent, to personalize them. In the EEA and UK we show a consent choice (Google's User Messaging Platform) before ads load. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads. Ads never appear inside dialogs or overlap controls.

How we use your data

To provide and secure the service, sync your account across devices, understand aggregate usage, and improve the catalog and features.

Analytics and consent

Usage analytics are tied to your consent and to the anonymous install ID. Events are queued on-device and sent in batches, and you can browse and play without an account at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who host and operate the app on our behalf, strictly as needed, or where required by law. These include Google AdMob (advertising) and Google Firebase (push notifications and diagnostics).

Data retention

Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate. Account data is kept while your account is active; if you delete your account, we remove your synced data within 30 days. See Delete Account & Data.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your account and its synced data from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA — contact us to exercise them.

Children

MemesFx is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

We will update this policy as the app evolves; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
